Affiliate Disclosure — FTC Required

We earn commissions. Here's exactly how it works.

This is the least fun page on the site. But you deserve to know — in plain language, not buried in fine print.

What affiliate relationships mean

What happens when you click one of our links?
When you click a link to a therapy platform on this site and sign up, we may earn a commission. This is an affiliate relationship. The FTC requires us to disclose this — and we think you should know even if they didn't.
Does it cost you anything?
Nothing. The price you pay for any platform is exactly the same whether you arrive through our link or directly through Google. The platforms pay us from their own marketing budget, not by marking up your subscription.
Does it influence our recommendations?
No. We recommend the platform that's best for your specific situation — not the one with the biggest payout. We have turned down higher-commission arrangements in exchange for favorable coverage. We review platforms we have no relationship with.

Note: We review 34+ platforms — most of which are not in the table above. When we recommend a platform that doesn't appear here, we receive no compensation from that recommendation.

What we'll never do
We will never write a favorable review in exchange for a higher commission rate. We will never rank a platform above its competitors because of an affiliate relationship. We will never accept payment for sponsored content and present it as editorial. If any of that changes, we'll put it on the homepage in a banner — or close the site.
